i have a problem my zanussi tumble dryer td523 spins but there is no heat?

i have a problem with my zanussi td 523 product number 916770069, can anyone advise what the problem may be. i am only getting cold air. i have checked that all filters are clean and that vents are not blocked.

Have you got a red reset button on the back of your tumble dryer. If so, give it a press to reset the thermal cutout. If this does help it could be either the heat controller or the heating element that have failed. Both are fairly easy to replace if you have a little bit of skill and are confident!
