Sorry for the incomplete answer. The plug recomended in the manual is a Champion RDJ7Y or equivalent.

The correct air gap is 0.020 inch (0.5 mm). This comes from my YM400 Yard Man Owner's manual. This trimmer has the 31cc engine.
