How can I clean mildew of my vinyl seats on the boat?

I cover the boat with some tarps for the winter and when I took the tarps off this year in spring, some moister or water got in and found mildew on the seats and carpet. How can I clean that out without damaging the vinyl.
Thank you

Mildew that thrives in damp will only respond to neat heavy duty bleach on a DRY cloth...but this is going to mark or discolour whetever you do..I have seen mildew cleaners advertised but my experience is that once something is mildewed (either with the dry or wet varity) its for chucking. If it were my boat I would use the bleach. Dry thoroughly and then make or get some loose seat covers (car???) and either carpet squares, mats, or recarpet if posible
