my 8sp 400n Accenta mini g3 alarm panel 14 months old keeps setting alarms off when not set . When it is set it works o.k. Has this model a bad track record

First off, it's only doing what it should.
It's telling you that there is a, usually, a tamper problem, the tamper part of the alarm is 'live' 24/7.
The panel will be giving an indication when this happens, you must take note of what it tells you.
This information along with your circuit list should point you in the right direction.
---- bet it's something to do with your outside sounder.
