ACCENTA G4 showing 'Tamper fault lock out'?

I have installed an Accenta G4 recently.

on my return home from work one day I noticed the alarm had activated and according to the log it is a 'tamper fault lock out'.

Now when I installed the system I ommited the tamper connections from each sensor (for simplicity) and looped them at the box.

The only items left with tamper active are the keypad itself and the external bell box.
I can understand that if there's a fault in my wiring it will cause an activation, what I don't understand is the fact that the alarm only activates when its set.

It has never gone off in day mode, am I correct in assuming that a tamper fault would actviate the alarm regardless of if it being set/unset?

Thanks

Tamper will only cause an internal alarm if unset.
