You must have forgot about the belt tensioner when you removed the belt. That will take up all the slack. Just put a 15mm socket on it and tilt it towards the water pump, slip your belt on. If it won't tighten, you'll need to replace that too, only about $60 at atlantic british. They also have a schematic on the belt positioning, be sure to find the one for 4.6 though in the tip section, cheers, jz
