Brand new CDA dishwasher wont drain and button wont work?

only used once inch of water in the bottom and programme selection button stuck on eco wash, any ideas? cda 497/1

have you connected it under a sink?.if so have you cut the end off sink stub or removed the blanking cap before connecting?.also check drain hose hasn't kinked when installing
