I just read on a blog that your printer has a memory of the cartridges that have been in it and they expire after 18 months. This is the reason I will not buy another HP printer or computer EVER. It doesn't matter if you have ink in it or not, when the cartridge hits 18 month is expires. Crazy. Dishonest. The list goes on.
