where can i get a cd or floppy's to help me replace file i delete accidenty?

I accidently deleted important file's that make window xp home edition run with a utility tool called duplicate, and now i am looking for help.
my pc boots like it's going to start but when it reaches the point where the log on is supose to be the screen stays black and i hear a click inside the pc and the pc try's to reboot again. it won't even boot in safe mode, or last know configuration. what can i do?

You might get away with just reinstalling windows XP over the current version without formatting the Hard Drive. This would fix the missing system files but leave your data intact. Alternatively if you have it you could try the emergency repair disk...

Youll probably need to format and reinstall xp again hope you have a disc.

I have no idea of your level of experience but if youre really new right click on recycle bin right click again or something you should get an option to restore files try that.
The files you need to leave alone are the windows ones
anything there leave strictly alone>
