My graftmans lown mower will not start it just makes a single click. I Just brought a new battery.what should i do.
It is Craftsman II 12HP OHV 4 Cycle Electronic Ignition.
Ultra Balance/cast iron base. Made by Tecumsen.

i syours an electric starter if so your starter could be stuck at the fly wheel ,do you have a pull rope if so can you pull it or ot if you cant pull it then your starter is stuck.tak off the starter cover and it the little wheel with notches i it is at the very top of the starter then it is stuck take a big screw driver and smaaall haner and know it back down gentely though you doint want to break it.

I suggest you replace the starter solenoid (after checking all the connections are secure)
