ryan model 265. i replaced gas line and now it leaks out of gas tank. How can i fix it?

I had the same problem on a Ryan 265-3, so I took off the fuel tank, pulled out the filter inside, attached it to the fuel line which I ran back through the tank from the inside pressing down on the filter inside the tank with a plier handle, then set that lock ring back on the outside. Seems to have worked for me.. Good luck!
