Printing error displayed on my sharp cash register. The whole register is jammed cant do anything with it

Yes, you are right. It is usually caused by something jamming the printer. Check that the ribbon or ink roller is not stuck, and that you have no foreign objects or paper jammed in the printer.

Then, turn the key to off, then back to REG and press CLEAR (CL). The printer will try to run again. If you still get the error, then it will need servicing.
