Gainsborough 9.5E shower?

The flow rate stays the same from when you turn the dial hot to cold. Also the water stays red hot even when the dial is in the cold position.
Is this a faulty flow valve if so can i change it or scap the shower

When electric showers go wrong it's usually best to replace them. Most of the newer Gainsborough showers have a phased shut down to prevent scalding. In your case I'd put money on its thermostat. I'm not familiar with the Gainsborough 9.5E... I'm just presuming it's electric. Have a look at the Gainsborough 8.5BC... I'm not selling it - I work for Roper Rhodes. But it's a worthy replacement.
