How can I unscrew lamp cover on Neff B1422 oven?

cannot unscrew lamp cover to replace bulb. Cover will not unscrew, appears to be locked in position
Neff B1422 Oven, May 2008
Have the same problem as Argie, Mighty Thor, Disenchanted Bosch users, and Andy B - now on third unexplained break of lamp cover on BOSCH U1722 top oven when in use! Main part drops into food leaving thread in place. I am very careful not to overtighten it so I can easily get the thread ou though. Last letter from Bosch said "“Causes can include foodstuffs on the surface of the glass causing one area of the glass to “super-heat”and the resulting temperature difference across the surface of the glass can cause the glass to break”.
Surely in an oven/grill, food splashes should be normal and catered for in effective design? Really fed up with Bosch! Strange thing is, these lamp covers feel really chunky!

Have been in touch with NEFF about the auxiliary tool Ref 613634 for removing lamp glass cover, but they do not respond to request for obtaining same. Has anyone been able to purcase this "tool" and if so from where? Many thanks

I had the same problem.
Like the reply above......I applied a little more pressure (quite alot actually) with a rag to aid my grip, in an anticlockwise direction......and it unscrewed!

Thanks for your help.

I had the same issue as you.

Call Neff Customer Services. A tool exists with reference number 613634 ('auxiliary tool') which grips the lamp cover and allows it to be removed easily.

Saves the cost of a broken lamp cover or engineer's visit.

I had the same issue, it seems to move in both directions a little then locks. I then applied a little more force in an Anticlockwise direction using a rag for more grip & it unscrewed.

Have you managed to do this yet, as I am having the same problem?
