pug 206 cc roof wont open?

fitted a new switch because plastic bit was broken and it worked ok but only once. now the roof wont go down and there isnt even any beeping when i press the switch. the old switch wont work it now either.

hello there just had one in workshop same problem. it was the diecast metal plate the the switch mounts to had a split which stopped the cam opperating the switch correctly. it is called a striker and cost 59+ vat.
