How do I remove front top fascia from Bosch W/Machine WWF 1201?

How do I remove the front top fascia from a Bosch Washing MAchine WWF 1201 to enable the operating knob to be replaced. The wash programme selecting knob moves too freely and would indicate broken rear cog.
