after washing a load of dishes now the clean button wont stop blinking and the dishwasher will not work. the book says to call

Our dishwasher did this and we had no idea how to fix it. The repair man came out to fix it and he said we needed to replace the whole computer inside. Our land lord paid and on the first wash it went right back to blinking. I just tried the "the High Temp Wash button and the Heated Dry button. Push each one three times alternately starting with High Temp Wash. Let it run through all the lights which clears the computer. It will run for about five minutes and then will stop." It works like a charm thanks. I'll have to tell my land lord so they can get the money back from that robber.

Right on the money, thanks for the advice! Why ISN'T this in the manual? How many $50 service charges wouldn't be then collected?, that's why!!!! This of course happened on Xmas eve, odd how stuff works out that way. I think it's programmed into the computer???? ;-)

I had the exact same problem on Thanksgiving Day! The repair man came today and I can't believe how easy it was to fix. Locate the High Temp Wash button and the Heated Dry button. Push each one three times alternately starting with High Temp Wash. Let it run through all the lights which clears the computer. It will run for about five minutes and then will stop. Then, choose your cycle and it should be fine. Too bad nobody thought to put that in the manual!!!!!
