How do I remove the steering wheel on a 2001 Ka?

I have a 2001 Ka 1.3 collection in which the steering wheel is mis-aligned, i.e. when driving in a striaght line the wheel is 1/3 of a turn clockwise. How do I remove it so I can re-align the steering wheel? My main concern is the airbag and ensuring the systems function correctly after all are connected back up.

Hi Phil, your best bet is take it to a good tyre & exhaust place get them to re-track the steering correctly, they can set the steering wheel dead ahead and adjust the steering rack to give the correct position, in the past someone has adjusted the steering rack without locking the wheel in the straight position it's a lot better than removing the steering wheel with all the complications of the Airbag
