What is wrong?

My Indesit washing machine fills a little bit then drains and the dial just clicks round. Whilst this happening the machine is making a noise like it wants to spin.

I think it is a W93 model

Just to add to this I have cheked that all taps and drainage piping are on and in the correct places.
