Fiat Punto 1998 engine cutout???

Engine cuts out while driving. no patteren noticed. can happen any time and any where. it takes a few minutes before i can start it again. looks like the spark is there but no fuel,whats wrong where?

easiest option change the fuel filter first then check pump out
