my gainsbourough 300x electric shower has suddenly stopped heating water,the red light does not illuminate when switched on and only cold water flows can anybody help?

Sounds like the shower unit has tripped an overload or blown a fuse?

Check your fuse box. The shower should have its own fuse or trip. If it is that, and it blows or trips out again straight away first time you use the shower, you may need to call an electrician.
