renault megane '99 electrical fault. radio, clock, odometer memory resets?
i recently changed the radio in my megane, and it worked for a while, but when i had a problem with my hazard warning button recently, i removed the radio for easy access to the switch. once this was done and working, i slid the radio back into place, and then i lost power to a lot of things in the car. i checked all the fuses in the under vent area, and all looks ok.
i have lost power to the radio, clock, and the odometer resets itself everytime i turn the engine off and back on again.
this does not affect the driving of the car, but is very annoying not having the radio on long journeys. is there another fuse hidden away that i dont know about? i cannot find any details of it in the drivers manual, and on inspection, all wiring inside the dash looks ok.
any help appreciated
