2000 Renault Laguna 1.9Dti injection warning light?

My Laguna 1.9Dti (original shape) has an orange "Injection warning light" that comes on when I start from cold or if the car has been standing a while. The car drives with massively reduced performance. If I immediately turn the engine off and on again it doesn't come back and the car drives fine. What could be causing this? anparkinson@hotmail.com

Hi mate Find out if it has an EGR valve, if so it could mean it needs a new one. or out of interest it could be your glow plugs as i had the same problem with my 1.9td peugeot 405, worth checking out..
