Alternative handlebar bushes?

I have a 1999 Gilera cougar,the problem I have is the handlebar bushes are worn and there is alot of play in the handlebars ,the bike wont pass an MOT now and the bushes are no longer available.Have you heard of this problem before?And can you suggest an alternative set of bushes.

If you go onto Bob Wright's Gilera Spares website I'm sure you can pick anything and everything up for a Gilera. Should be handle bars bushes available...
