all the lights are on but when I press start nothing happens, machine won't start. Fisher and Paykel 7.5kg .9 smart drive

Underneath the lid on the right hand side is a magnet that triggers a reed switch under the hob when the lid closes.

This reed switch is probably the problem, join the 2 wires together that go from the switch to the computer. If this works, replace the reed switch.
