Speedfight 2 wont start, Been through the basics, Pls Help!?

My Speedy 2 100cc is on a X Reg (2000) with 4000 miles.

I was riding home (30 Mile journey) when it cut out and died completly, I left it 10 -15 mins and it started ok, got home left it 4 maybe 2 days then it wouldn't start again.

All electrics work, It turns over, Theres a spark (But the plug was dry so I thought "No Fuel"), The fuel tap works, the carb is clean and jets and float are ok.

So now I've checked the tap, fuel line to carb & carb. So I'm out of ideas what to check next. When I put the carb back on I'll check for compression(With my finger, Hee Hee. I don't have a compression checking tool!)

But even with my limited knowledge of scooters isn't that all I need? Fuel compression & ignition?? I've been told by the dealers they'll have to have a look but to be honest I can't afford it.

I think it could be the Immoboliser but I'm not getting the flashing LED & I am getting a spark so I really don't know. Any suggestions?

I know how most immobolisers work, They basically break the Ignition circuit and/or the fuel pump circuit.

What I wanted to know is what systems does the immoboliser disable. Because with mine It turns over,(Ignition circuit working) And there's no fuel pump to disable. So does is inhibit the coil/ CDi so you don't get a spark? I have a spark.

Thanks in advance for any help it would be REALLY appreciated.

Ps. I have the manual for it but its not that cracking really, I'm fairly good mechanically, & I'm pretty good with electronics.

remove plug.unscrew plug cap.using insulated pliers, hold the lead 6mm away from the engine, spin the motor.the spark should jump this distance,if does ign circuit ok.swap plug and cap for known good ones, replace both.remove air filter&cover.buy a can of easy start, spining the motor pulse a SMALL amount of easystart into the carb intake,it is possible to run the engine on SMALL pulses.dont use to much.if motor runs on easy start, problems in fuel supply/carb.if still no go suspect compression, should be enough to BLOW ur finger of.

Try a brand new plug to isolate that one....can you tip some neat petrol into the plug hole and see if the engine fires? Is the fuel tap a vacuum operated one - if so is the vacuum pie connected? You seem to have tried the obvious things....!
