Cooling for Renault Scenic?

I have a 1999 Renault Scenic and the fan is not kicking in so the engine is overheating. Do I just change the thermoswitch on the radiator or is it more complicated than that?

Check fuses first. Renault's ofen have a cooling problem and it's often electrical so if a fuse isn't blown carefully check all connections and then replace the thermostat if no joy. If it still doesn't work then you can either put in the garage for a repair or you can have a bypass fitted. Basically a kenlowe manual fan.
