how to adjust the running time on a watch?

I have an old bulova wristwatch witch is losing about 15 mins per day how do I adjust it to get correct running time
Bob Stokoe, June 2008
Hi Bob, usually the general wear on the watch makes it go slow, all the bits rattling about instead of running smoothly.
There will be a regulator on the back of the watch inside the case. It will have a screw with + and - as the markings.
Usually a watch repairer will do it but all he will do is tweak the screw towards the - direction to slow it down.
It will be a "suck it and see" job until the watch runs more accurate.
