Make sure you don't have a clogged hose. I replaced the control valve and the vacuum worked on the bench, but when I hooked up the hose the same issue arised with the full bag indicator. I realized at this point there was another issue. Once I cleaned out a very clogged hose the vacuum worked like new again.

WHERE IS A GOOD PLACE/WEBSITE TO PURCHASE A VACUUM SENSOR?

JIM BENSON, March 2009
I had exactly the same problem, followed the steps outlined by Jim and it is running again. Thanks for a solution to a very frustrating problem.

Thomas, I had exactly the same problem, but with another model. Another posting confirmed how to open the machine - slideing the side rails out. Inside there is a vacuum sensor that has tubes that connect to the cannister and the power switch. I found that our vacuum sensor had a broken plastic backing near the O ring. By disconnecting the tube connected to the power switch, the vacuum continues to run. Once I replace the faulty vacuum sensor, I will reconnect the tube. Bye.
