i have a problem with my car it starts alright but after driving far a distance it cuts out and then the key code stay on when trying to restart , so i disconect the plugs on the ecu unit and the car starts and i have to keep doing this evrytime it happens , what can i do to fix it thankyou.

I had this problem spoke to RAC technical on phone they told me check the key barrel has not parted from its slot if it has take off cover and push it back in. Or turn the ignition on without starting the car and leave ignition on for ten minutes turn ignition off and then start the car this worked for me now the car starts every time

my car is a punto s and it has mind of its own it only starts when it wants to the key code light stays on the dash when
i start it then if i turn it of and try again it starts but the key code light goes of.
sometimes it wont start at all and have to wait for about half an hour before it will fire up again it is starting to get really annoying as i am often stuck at garages or in traffic.
please can anyone help and tell me whats wrong with my car and if so how to fix it.
