Epson Stylus RX 425?

All the lights on my printer are on and a letter E in the copy panel. When i looked this up in the manual it advises me that parts on the printer are at the end of of their time ? can this be repaired ?

this error is because the ink pads are full - use this utility to clear the ink cleaning counter - but read the instructions first
