peugeot 306 front wipers not working?? washer jet working?

I have a pug 306 estate w reg front wipers stopped in mid sweep, washer jet working and rear wiper working fine, any ideas please.

mine happened today! RAC said "the motor is fu@$ed" - i thought "charming!"

I have noticed a pool of water though . . . . anyone know of any online instructions for replacing? don't wanna buy a haynes manual :)

Wiper motor is probably stuck under water. It is housed in the scuttle which fills with water due to the drain holes being blocked.
