Porblem with my Proline TDV62?

Hi,

My drum is still rotating, and heating up, however, its banging like mad...

The belt is OK, the Drum is fine, the casing is fine...

From looking in at the top it seems like the drum has come away from the small guides at the front, however i cannot figure how to get it back at there is no hard connection to the frame....

Any ideas

had the same problem its the rear bearing and more than likely the drum shaft not a bad job to replace with basic tools spares are available :)

Hi Keith,
check that the rear drum shaft has not broken (it sometimes does) the front of the drum runs on a felt pad & plastic bearings the rear also has a drum felt and is held on via the bearing & shaft assy .
