My R reg ldv convoy won't start?

my 1998 ldv convoy won't start. it has a ford transit engine, 2500 desiel.it did a twice before stopping altogether and i noticed that the engine light was not on when it happened as soon as it came it started straight away. any help wounld be good as just spent 2months making it into a camper.

Hello, sorry to jump into your thread, but David i think you might be able to answer my question. My LDV has nothing when I turn the key, the lights came on the dash- there was a click, then nothing. Now when I turn the key everything (elecs and all) are dead.

Any ideas?

it turns over as normal just won't fire like there is no fuel.
