How can I fix my 106?

How do you do the timing on a peugeot 106 diesel? where are the timing marks?

1527 part 2 , check timimg marks should line up if not try again (I got it on the second try)redo 3x3 bolts on cam/ pump 10-20 lbs on nuts when happy take out locking bolts and drill from flywheel ,good luck this is only a ruff guide to doing this job you will soon find out if your timing is out ,it will run ruff low power stall if way out( have fun )

1527 is the same but you un do the 3 bolts on the cam& pump 1/4 of aturn to get the belt on better... start by making the 3 pullys crank has line on it at top when looking down on it, cam has slot with bolt hole in a U shape so does pump it is not need ed but is a good guide whenyou get the belt on ,if your marks line up your belt is ok, start at crank over roller move pump round 1 tooth feed belt on move cam same lay belt on (do not remove bolts you will lose timing points) feed over water pump under roller with square hole then on cam, KEEP belt tensioned over crank and pump when fitting to cam, ajust tension to beltwith 2Kg and add 1/16 -1/8 of a turn to over load belt hold for 5-10 mins (cup of tea )slacken reload to 2KG

there is 2 types of timing ',,on pug diesel 1360 take bat off put 6mm drill in to fly wheel ( small hole at front right along side engine block under engine number) gently turn crank clockwise until drill pops in /take off cambelt cover top and bottom you will find cam and pump wheel each will have a bolt hole 6-8mm find bolt or rod to fit this locks your timing then slacken belt and change (YOU WIll NEED) a square bar bent at 90* 100 mm long 30mm to bend 70 other hang 2kilo weight of this to tension belt .
