The door of my Hoover AB130 has been very difficult (now impossible) to open after a wash. Pressing the button no longer fully retracts the door catch. I would like to look inside to see if I can identify a part to replace but don't know how to get the top off. I have so far removed 3 screws from back of top. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.

You open 3 screws backside, slide the top cover back. Then you can see down into the drum etc. Inside the button to open the door, there is a spring you have to tighten with a long metal tool as a screw driver etc.
You fix it in some few minutes !
