How can I fix a cut cable of Flymo HT42 trimmer?

I accidentally cut the cable of the flymo HT42 and I cannot replace it bacause it comes hard wired inside. Can anybody suggest me how to fix it? The trimmer is new, but obviously it can't be used unless I change the cable. Help please!

It's not hard wired , two screws into a connection block is all you have to worry about. Watch out you dont turn it upside down as motor will fall out.

The easiest way is to buy a 3 pin external use cable connector which you can use to fix the damage. The piece with the pins goes to the machine, the piece with the sockets goes to the mains end. Observe polarity - blue to blue, brown to brown. The connector should give you measurements of how much cable to prepare, etc.
