Rover 75 How to replace the transfer pump?

The In tank transfer pump has failed if the car goes below 1/4 tank it stops!

1) How do I replace the pump (one is on its way)

2) Has anyone got a link to a diagram of the tank

Contrary to what has been said in the other answer, this is a common fault with these cars.

As to fitting, I'd buy a Haynes manual for your car.

that makes no sense.the pump cannot decide how much fuel is in the tank.it must have dislodged the fuel pick up.that is what u need to attend to.clearly the pump appears fine.check for removable plates in vehicle body that might give acces to tank.under rear seat/carpet.if so gain acces to tank and remove pump.probably find pick up pipe /pre filter has droped off.
