Toro 11-32 Riding Mower - Chain keeps falling off?

The chain keeps falling off the mower at the back axle. Not sure how tight the chain is supposed to be, but it really seems to be sagging a little too much. To fix it, I put the chain back on and roll the mower backwards until it catches. Fairly annoying as I have to shut down and fix it every ten minutes or so. The lawn is pretty flat, so its not bumps and hills that are knocking it off. Any way to adjust this?

thanks

Between the right rear tire and the frame there are 2 bolts. I loosened them, pulled on the rear tire to pull the axle back (tightening the chain) and tightened the bolts to hold the axle in new position. Chain never came off again.

Not familiar with this particular model, but usually the transmission is mounted in slotted holes to allow for chain adjustment.

On the other hand, if you are able to put the chain back on as you say, it indicates WAY to much slack. Either the wrong chain (too long) is fitted (in which case remove 1 or more links), or it's worn almost to the point of falling apart. Any mower shop should be able supply a new chain.
