Hotpoint CTD00 Will not stay on?

I have a Hotpoint CTD00 and it will not stay switched on. If i stand and hold the switch in it stays on ok, the same if i use a bit of blue tack on the switch it stays on. I have replaced the switch but no joy.
Anyone got any ideas??

the start relay is at fault, this is a circuit board type board relay.if you need to purchase any spares this site is good
