How can i fix my Vauxhall meriva (Corsa) oil lamp problem?

The oil lamp comes on after about 25 minutes motoring. The temperature does not go up and there is no loss of performance. I suspect it is some kind of relay or sensor problem rather than a big engine problem. Can anyone help. thanks
