I need to replace a wiper switch on the steering column but don't know how to take off the plastic cover around the steering column.

hi my name is adam you turn the stering wheel to left than right you will see 2 black covers prise tham off and u will see screws unscrew. and u will see screws under the coulm is more covers prise tham off and unscrew be carefull when pulling it apart bootom first than slide top out and u will see the stalk screws repeat when re fitting tell me how it goes ?
