Vauxhall Astra Brake issue?

I HAVE A VAUXHALL ASTRA 2001 MODEL I HAD NEW FRONT DISK AND PADS FITTED BECAUSE I WAS GETTING SCREACHING NOISE ON BRAKING.

IT SOLVED THE ISSUE FOR TWO WEEKS THEN IT CAME BACK AGAIN THE GARAGE HAD IT BACK CLEANED THE BRAKES BUT STILL AS BAD THEY SAID NOTHING MORE WE CAN DO WELL THATS GREAT SERVICE (NOT)

AS ANYONE ANY IDEAS AT ALL AND ITS 100%COMING FROM FRONT BRAKES AND HELP BE GREATFULL

some pads squeal when being broke in for the first 100 or so miles if the garage have taken them off again it could be due to the pads not being seated properly take the pads off and clean all the bake dust then put copper grear on the back of the pads where they touch the caliper and it should cure the problem.

hi ,to stop the noise remove the pads and on the back plate of the pads use copper ease grease. its made to stop break screech { you can get copper ease at any good car shop}

caliper piston seal acts as a return spring for the piston,sounds like urs is not retracting enough due to dirt/rust/faulty seal.simplest solution?replace caliper.
