I turn the Electrolux EOB944 built in oven on and set the required heat. The fan spins, the thermastat light is out (as if temperature has been reached) the oven light is on - there is no heat from the oven. I then put the dial to the grill setting and the fan is on but no heat from the grill either. Thought it may have been the heating element but that would not explain the grill not working either - appreciate any help.

something is obviously jinxed!

My EOB944 has just done very similar. The oven light comes on, the hob works still but there is no heat, no fan or light! It just died about 1 minute after turning on.

Was it an easy fix?

check connector on the back of the cooker (where the 6mm cable enters the cooker).sometimes they melt or get loose connections
