hi yeh first thing to try is the safety blow of valve but if still continues u need to check the pressure in the exspansion vessell it may need to be re pressured if its empty or very low the water as no where to expand when hot hence water out of safety valve/pipe

you need new pressure relief valve part no, 1860 if you are in sussex area ring sussex gas on 01273583052 , they are vkera agents and will not rip you off
