how to replace brushes on a dyson dc01?

there is power reaching the motor but it dont turn which leads me to think the carbon brushes need replacing. I have removed the motor but cant see how to remove the brushes. does anyone know how to remove them ?

its ok i found the answer. seems you have to leave the plastic terminals in and remove the brush and spring.
