The water level of my fiat seicento sporting engine drops from max to min on a 3 mile drive to work & then left 8 hours, there is no water in the oil & no oil in the water although it has developed a misfire at low revs there is still pressure in the expansion tank when I release it to fill it up, it isn't leaking onto the floor either.

hi alan, i had the same problem with my renault clio, i first thought it was leaking from somewhere but like you couldnt find it leaking anywhere. so i took it to be looked at and it turned out to be my head gasket (which isnt cheap to repair if its the same case with you!)
