2001 transit 2.4 td oil filter removal?

you say 36mm, do you need to undew the allen key bit first? mine just rounded off :( or is that bit after removal.. thanks wayne..

no that doesn't need to come out at all its just there for draining the filter housing. undo the cap 3/4 of the way and it should drain out of a little hole in the side otherwise if u just take it straight out oil will go everywhere
