we have an craftsman LT1000 riding mower?

The rider mows high and low makes yard look bad. j How do we adjust it or what is the problem. Does the blades need balancing. Please help

first check tire inflation. if that's not the cause then try this. If you have a big enough slab of concrete park the rider on it, drop the deck to the lowest setting. If the deck drops flat to the ground then pull deck lever to the next level until you get the one side to rise first. Look under the mower on top front side of the deck. There will be 2 threaded rod adjstng bolts located about right abve each blade. prop the lower side up and tighten or prop the higher side and adjst down. remove props and take a tape msr to see if it is level. A little adjstng can make a big swing so be cautious
