hi, i have a hotpoint tdl52 and there is no heat in it. what is the problem, could it be the element? if so is this easy to fix?

Hi Gordon,
to replace the drive belt you need to access the drum by removing the top, control fascia panel, plastic kickplate at the bottom & then the front panel, you can then replace the belt. (it is an elastic belt so may be very tight & difficuit to stretch over the drum & motor pulley but it will stretch eventually.)
if you need to purchase the belt, this online shop is very reliable.
